| Comments about Worthington Park Dog Park:

The one listed in Howard County, actually Elkridge not Ellicott City, is technically ADA accessible. They are using a temporary park across the street now that isn't. If the improvements mean the cement, double gated, entrance is enlarged to reduce being sucked into mud, it will be very nice. Now it is still fairly good with no trails. It's to reopen soon and I'll send an update. Gravel parking on the level, HP spots up front if you need help with someone letting your dog in and the disabled person watching from the car. Many service dogs are run by friends or family of the disabled person. Our year old retreiver mix is working towards being a service dog but like most pups needs running room. This park allows young, toy, timid and older dogs to run in one area and adult, rambuctious or older pups have a larger run area. Water provided but you should bring a container. No training inside the enclosures, no treats inside and owners should be inside with their pets. My husband settles down on a bench or chair provided inside the run enclosures for Maggie's one hour runs. Amazing how few fights there are. Oh and plastic baggies and covered disposal cans for poop provided. LOL
Any info on the AA County doggie beach appreciated. We'll try to check it out Sunday anyway.
