The Garrett County Humane Society has been in existance for more than 20 years. Our main goals are to rescue abused/neglected animals, promote adoptions from our County shelter and provide $ assistance to people who need to have their pets spayed or neutered. We also work to educate our youth about pet care, and how to be a responsible pet owner. We provide supportive services at the County shelter including photographing the adoptable animals for the local newspaper and Petfinder. We assist the local rescue(HART) when needed. |
