The Montgomery County Humane Society (MCHS) in Rockville, Maryland, is a non-profit animal welfare organization with an urgent mission to protect the unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals of Montgomery County. We provide for approximately 10,000 animals annually and almost half million since our founding in 1958. As the only full service shelter in Montgomery Count, we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we never turn away an animal. |
