Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, AAVEC is an acute care emergency veterinary hospital located in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland.

With a staff of twenty experienced emergency veterinarians from across North America, and a highly-qualified, trained technical staff, we are able to provide services ranging from repairing minor wounds and lacerations to overnight ICU care to emergency surgeries. Our facility is state-of-the-art, and we offer treatment using the latest innovations in veterinary medicine. We now offer digital radiography (x-ray) to accompany our ultrasonography (ultrasound) service. We also have an in-house laboratory, which allows us to conduct many tests in-house within minutes.
