Information: Town & Country Animal Clinic is a busy, full service veterinary clinic conveniently located on Route 108, ½ mile east of Georgia Ave. The clinic provides the latest in medical and preventative health care for small animals. Founded over 50 years ago as a mixed animal practice, Town & Country is the oldest veterinary clinic in Montgomery County, MD.
The clinic has three veterinarians, one rehabilitation therapist and over 10 veterinary technicians and support staff. The staff prides themselves on being extremely caring and personable, knowing their clients and working with client concerns.
With flexible appointment schedules they are able to accommodate most pet owner s busy schedules. They offer full surgery capabilities and overnight hospitalization. All radiographs are taken with state of the art, digital imaging equipment and every image is reviewed by a board certified radiologist. A specialty surgeon is also available for consultations and more complex soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
The clinic is the only one in Montgomery County, MD, to offer rehabilitation services including a state-of-the-art underwater treadmill. Available by referral, rehabilitation services can facilitate recovery from orthopedic and neurological surgeries, expedite weight loss, improve mobility and energy level of geriatric patients, and help canine athletes perform their best.
Veterinary Technicians are always available for pet owner s questions or concerns and provide many aspects of client education. Complete laboratory service is available, both in house and out to local laboratories as well as utilizing the specialty labs at universities across the country. Pre-surgical screening is encouraged for all procedures. Dentistry, routine surgery, radiology, bathing, and rehabilitative physical therapy are offered by appointment. The hospital also carries a complete line of prescription diets such as Purina, Hills, Iams, Eukanuba, and IVD. |
